I get your dismissal of the talk, but the real concern is if you are defining head to head as the determining factor - then Iowa isn't 3rd. They beat both Drake and UNI this past year...

The poster saying Iowa is the 3rd best team is still invalid.

On paper, ISU has the best in-state team right now. I would put Iowa and UNI pretty close to each other at 2nd.

Stormin, did you ever think you you would be making that argument? That the Hawks are about even with UNI and sitting behind ISU in near term potential. Geez.

What is your gut feeling on Hubbard spank?

I think Iowa's staff can relate better with him than Nebby's. I think Neb having the last official helps them.

Iowa will be going up against Neb for a couple recruits here late in the game.

Personally, I just know that Iowa needs bodies and needs athletes. Hubbard will come with baggage. He knows that and the staff knows that. If he can keep himself out of trouble, it could be a really great get for Iowa. If he slips up, it could be disastrous.

So, long and short, I have no idea.

Agree big10fan. There are around 20 or so Clone fans consistently trolling on here. It's not CY-HawkNation.com it's Hawkeyenation.com. You have your own board. There are only a handful of Hawkeye fans over there and they are at least reasonable. There's more Cyclone fans on here than there are at CF.com.
