2019 Tyreke Locure

thanks rob. have you come across any knocks/limitations from a recruiting perspective that you're hearing?

Rob's picking and choosing of posts to which he responds might indicate that he knows something that he isn't ready to say. If he "knew nothing" that might hurt his recruiting, I would think he would say it. And the concerns may not even be true, but sometimes there are perceptions out there that need to be overcome before recruiting can take off.

If he is quick, a gamer, and a true PG...I would take him...it is an upgrade from not having a true PG on the team...

But I suppose that would run off the higher end options...

Not sure what Fran is up to with the PG recruiting...which is something I have thought about in the past a few times...

Ha yeah. Some of the mismatches at the AAU level can be pretty nuts. I've been on both sides of those blowouts. It's not even fun to be on the winning side of em. At least it wasn't for me.
Correct me if I'm wrong.. but it looks like those are the DM North jerseys. It could be a summer camp type thing with HS teams, which would mean the competition is even lower

Exactly what we need.

if you are serious, then i agree. TL or Noah Hutchins.

But TL looked like the only one that shouldn't have been on that court. he was 2 heads and 4 shoulders above everyone else. he really needs a competition upgrade. But my theory is that if you are supposed to dominate and you do dominate, then you are probably as good as you seem to be. But, more certainty would come with much higher competition.

It was kind of odd because there were some school teams but some AAU teams as well. North won it but I don't think the competition was very good.

It's amazing how people will dismiss this guy.

do you mean Locure? Yeah, I agree. I mean, he is small but his potential based of his skill set, to me, is astronomically high. If he was 3 inches taller, he'd be hounded by everyone. now, having said all of that, there must be a reason or reasons beyond talent level why he isn't being sought after. i could speculate, but won't. if this kid is a good enough student, any person can mature. i see a lot of hot dog in him, but hell, he looks like he's bored half the time based on the competition.

how are AAU teams selected, by the way? are there selected, are there tryouts? I really don't know.

He is only 2 inches shorter than Carton, can that make a huge difference? His stats are unbelievable.

there is height and weight. I should have said bigger but that is a bit vague. DJC carriers more weight. If TL was 3 inches taller he'd carry more weight with those additional 3 inches of height.
