Great post. Is there a 50 year old guy out there that is a marketing genius, innovative, bigger than life personality at a mid major who had success at a big program earlier in his career and has a burning desire to get back to the top. We need the Hayden of BB.

I'm sure Spiraw is a great guy, and it's nice that his relatives show up on message boards every time a coaching change is discussed; but c'mon now; he was only average in a weak conference. I'm not calling for Keno, but I'd give up on Iowa BB if we hired Spiraw.

The tolerance of incopetence in the Iowa Athletic Dept needs to end. God, I wish Gable would take the job for just 1 year; he has the balls to clean out the dead wood that has been there for years and would never tolerate losing like this BB team.

Actually, the Mountain West could get as many teams into the Big Dance as the B10. They will probably get 4, the B10 will only get more than that if ILL finishes strong.

I don't think we have any guys that you can build a proram around. I think May, Fuller, Gatens and Cully are complimentary parts that would be nice to have IF you had a few guys to really build around.

I think teams are supposed to improve from beginning of season to the end- that is why coaches get paid $1Mil+. Unfortunately, at the end of the year; we are really only better than Indiana.

The key to the game was IU's complete lack of an inside presence. Fuller and Cole are really good around the basket- they can dominate against a team like IU. On the other hand, they are undersized and can get dominated by a team with good big men.
