Who knows whether Basabe or Larson is better at this point. They haven't played against each other, probably have never been within 500 miles of one another. Sounds like they have different strenghts and weaknesses. I will say that Basabe has probably faced a lot better competition.

I was never stoked about either Larson or Brust- better maybe than Lick's previous recruits, but never thought of them as guys who were going to be big part of contending in B10.

Fran may start with a team worse than Lick did; but I'll bet he'll recruit guys to build on than are better than Lick even approached. And he will probably relate to the players that he has and coach them better as well- hell a bad Jr High coach could do that.

I'm sure Wathal had an effect on Larson; I doubt it influenced Fuller.

I would imagine that the entire staff will be announced at the same time. I would be surprised if that does not happen in the next day or so.
