I always thought he was more of a garbage man as well (very good garbage man). However, Over the last half season he has changed my mind. He has improved his jump shot greatly and has become a huge threat to the opposing team. Hope he can keep it up against Gonzaga.

Yes. Barta has done a very mediocre job as Iowa's AD. If your heads of the athletics accepts average then the ones below him will. Perfect example, Kirk Ferentz. Nuff said ;)

LB's will have to play disciplined and make sure they have their gap assignment and not try and chase. Also, I would like to see some run blitz's from Desmond King.

It doesn't matter when a FT is missed. It's always crucial to make them. I believe Iowa and Villanova had the same FT percentage as well. Nova just shot more FT's

Just to compare this game against Xavier game. The refs were just as bad in that game as tonight but at least it was called poorly against each team. Edit: also Iowa won against Xavier ;)

I would also like to mention that there were 2 STARTERS that fouled out and our best 3 point shooter fouled out.... Yeah fouls didn't effect outcome.

No questions Iowa's perimeter D was **** and Nova was hot. The only players that do a good job on perimeter D are Clemmons and Gessel(edit)

Thanks hwks1. Usually it's the other way around. They attempted 9 more FT's than Iowa and Iowa had 9 more personal fouls than Nova. Refs have been bad in this tourney on both sides but I thought there were some really ******/questionable calls tonight against Iowa.... Of course I'm saying...

The only one I could see him replace in the starting line up is Basabe. Which wouldn't be a bad thing at all. From what we've seen over the years Basabe does best when he comes off the bench.
