Hawks express gratitude !

That's radical!! Someone in the marketing/athletic department is doing some good stuff. Was it just me or did LSDaniels look genuinely grateful?

Hawks and KF grateful for fan support. Somebody somewhere heard the message of what the fans were saying. I'm grateful the team and coaches have made changes and realized fans are not to be taken for granted.

Daniels always seems to be very positive, up beat, and genuine.

Would agree, Daniels seem to be a very positive, up beat person... Had a solid first start, looks good running the ball!!

As a long time season ticket holder, really enjoyed this thank you, seems like the athletic department is getting the message.

Have heard a lot of the same positive buzz about his brother James. Two high quality guys that you want on your team.

That was a good idea. Better late than never. The "good idea". I believe that the coaches and players are mostly grateful for the fan support.

I'm also a Long-time season ticket holder and I think the Thank You is nice, but no
big deal. I've heard KF say many times that Hawkeye fans are the greatest.

I'm going to return the Thank You from the Hawkeyes and now let's get
PREPARED to take it to Lil brother on Saturday.

Nice gesture, and another obvious sign that Barta and the marketing department understand what they face. It is nice to have this attitude, instead of the Sally Mason led directive to drive away as many fans as possible.

After 24 years of season tickets, I am/was fully sick of the BS and spending too much time, money, and emotional energy on football. We decided to miss the home opener so we could watch our own kids play. Eventually, the addiction grabbed hold and we found ourselves in Kinnick for the end of the first half. Damnit if they didn't do just enough to make me excited for this season. While the video is nice, going for it at the end of the first half did WAY more to get me back.
