worst coaching job of ferentz career

This loss falls on Kirk and coaching staff. Two ugly teams. And one coach getting outcoached by another. At least it takes the pressure off. ... As a fan... I no longer feel the need to stress over wins and losses. This is a bad Iowa team.

You are correct talk to anyone close to the program and Kirk is in charge and in control. This offense is his abomination not GD's. He doesn't have Bobby Kennedy out beating the bushes for anyone with speed in Texas just to sit their butts on the bench. That's a Kirk thing. It's not Ruddock, it's not Canzeri It's NOT the OL it's Kirk plain and simple.

Have not been to a game since Wiscy 2010, have watched on Tv out of morbid curiosity, after this pile of crap, I will spend my Sats knitting that sweater

It may not be 30 games but it has been way too many. i am tired of it. I have had a great time over the years going to Hawkeye bowl games but may be time to spend money elsewhere. This new format of HawkeyeNation has not got me thrilled either.
 
Fire Davis now, and let him promote Brain. If they win the west, they can keep the dynasty alive, if not, see if you can find someone. Scott Frost from Oregon would change the culture.
 
We can't give Kurt das boot right now, but we can Davis. Barta needs to make sure Kurt understands there will be consequences for anything but success.

Wish people would understand this. Underperforming offense has been a constant with Kirk. His brilliant blocking scheme can't even get yards on the ground now.

This. The zone blocklng scheme that iowa employs no longer works. Mike Shannonhan/Alex Gibb couldn't make it work at Iowa at this point. it is 2014, not 2002 anymore.

This right here is the stain on KF's legacy.....
 
We were clearly able to run the ball throughout the game but they didn't stick with it and unless they look downfield in the passing game the D just keys on the run. It felt like we were forcing the passing game today more so than usual but I could be wrong.

Anyone else nervous Kirk rides this ship into the abyss?

Similar to Fry near the end of his tenure.

Iowa could fall off into the oblivion real quick.

I think of Colorado football, they were a solid prime time worthy program. Now, they get pummeled by any team with a pulse.
 
Also, the "Lunatic Fringe" doesn't look as Cuckoo for Coconuts anymore do they...

Thought Ferentz ability to win big time games dissipated years ago...
