My picks:

1. Cole- strong pro season, will dominate the paint.
2. Basabe- to try to control Cole
3. Marble- scoring machine
4. White- all court player
5. McCabe- vet of summer battles
6. May- good summer player
7. Gesell- transition passer
8. Woodbury- size matters
9. Uthoff- thanks,Bo.
10.Oglesby- shooter deluxe

with only 4 teams they should just do a weekly draft. give the new guys the opportunity to play with and against variety of talent.

JHHawk, I could see Cole being the top pick as you know he will be at every game. Otherwise the best slashing guards will be the first ones taken. Anyone that has ever watched a PTL game knows those are the players that dominate in a league like this.

Dude, I know you watched Roy Dev last year. That league was his. There are no other options for the #1. Unless Daryl Moore just turned 25 again.

quality defensive bigs can really limit the effectiveness of slashing guars. bigs will go first.

But there are more quality bigs this year than quality slashing guards that can run the point. There are 4 teams and after Marble is taken you are down to Gesell and Clemmons. If I am drafting #1 you take the top PG you can get because you know there will be quality bigs still left on the board in the 2nd and 3rd round.

I guess we will find out tonight. I assume ESPN will be picking up this draft live? :D

additional info:

Players expected to play this summer with an Iowa connection include
Zach McCabe, Devyn Marble, Aaron White, Eric May, Josh Oglesby,
Melsahn Basabe, Gabe Olaseni, and Darius Stokes from the current Iowa
squad; Jarryd Cole, Duez Henderson, Jason Price, Jordan Stoermer,
Andrew Brommer, Darryl Moore, and possibly Matt Gattens if his
professional tryouts allow. Incoming freshmen Adam Woodbury, Mike
Gesell, Anthony Clemmons, Patrick Ingram and Kyle Meyer will all play,
as will Jared Uthoff if his college choice allows it. Ali Farokhmanesh
is expected to play as well, along with the scholarship basketball
players at Upper Iowa and Kirkwood.

2012 Prime Time League Press Release

Since this press release has been out Gatens has w/d his name and someone earlier mentioned Ingram will not be able to play in the PTL.

I think Molly in the DI entirely misread the Hawkeye fan's take on Uthoff. I would say that most Iowa fans are already on his side.

Does not matter, I would have still taken Marble #1 overall. White was outstanding but they did not turn it around until Clemmons started playing well. I would argue that Clemmons was the most valuable player on that team.

So somebody averages 30 and 14 yet isnt the MVP? Clemmons indeed was terrific down the stretch and was probably the MVP for the Championship Game, but you have to be kidding that he was the MVP for the team for the "season".

i get what white did game after game was solid and all. but i think the point was that they didnt win (even with white's production) until clemmons started playing better. i only saw the championship game so i cant really say who should be the mvp but i believe white's team only won 2 games the whole time. so to each their own. from what i saw of cole and the numbers he had i would say he could be considered the mvp...i can see how much he has improved and understand why he is playing in europe next yr...hopefully he gets a tryout with an nba team sometime soon.

I understand what you are saying but keep in mind his team did not win a single game until Clemmons started playing better. Putting up big numbers is great but winning games is even better.
