What does each Big 10 team lose next year

If he doesn't make it in the NBA, he could star in the re-make of Rocky IV - not that anyone would want to do that, but he would be a natural if it ever happened.

This update includes all players (to my knowledge) that are at least considering/exploring the draft or have announced plans to transfer. It's a moving target...obviously. Trimble and Anunoby have hired agents. Jacobson and Morrow are definitely transferring.

WI - Koenig, Hayes, Showalter, Brown and Happ (So.)
MD - Dodd, Trimble (Jr.) and Jackson (Fr.)
PU - Swanigan (So.), V. Edwards (Jr.) and Haas (Jr.)
NW - Lumpkin and Taphorn
MSU - Harris, Ellis III and Bridges (Fr.)
Iowa - Jok
IN - Anunoby (So.), Bryant (So.) and Blackmon (Jr.)
MN - Springs
MI - Walton, Irvin, Robinson, Donnal, Wagner (So.) and Wilson (Jr.)
OSU - Loving and Thompson (Jr.)
PSU - None
NE - Webster, Jacobson (So.) and Morrow (So.)
IL - Hill, Morgan, Abrams and Thorne

Four Indiana players are testing the waters. They tied for 10th...finishing 4 games below .500...but have 4 players that think they are worth an NBA look? They are delusional or Crean was even worse than many of us thought.

So my question is this; Are we hoping to win by default like we did in football two years ago? That's not a knock on Fran as I feel he has earned at least two more years to see what these recent recruits can do.

Winning by default was pretty damn fun 2 years ago if you ask me.

Winning by default? We haven't even seen the schedule yet. I think the B1G will still be pretty strong next year. If Swanigan returns Purdue & MSU will both be top 10 teams and I think there is at least 5 others that have top 30 type potential.

Transfers and Early departures are part of the recruiting game in college basketball. Coaches have to plan and prepare for it.

If Iowa is better than the teams it plays next year, I certainly won't be looking for ways to discredit them for it as an Iowa fan. Seems odd one would already be looking to do that in May.
