What does each Big 10 team lose next year

IU will be the team I keep my eye on. If nobody leaves they are potentially a favorite. OG and Bryant may declare.

I will be a bit surprised if Bryant (Ind) returns. He looked extremely frustrated during many of their games last season. Of course, maybe losing Tanned Tom will encourage him to stick around.

I hope the BIG takes care business next year during the non-conference schedule, I'm tried of the ACC being top dog every year...

It's so ridiculous that they decide who the best conferences are based on a handful of games played early in the year. The big 10 had a few ugly losses and they based the entire year on them. Pretty dumb.

I thought things shook out about right in the tournament though. We had no stand out teams with none advancing to the sweet 16 but had nice wins early over Louisville and Villanova. I agree with others that the conference gets much tougher next season with so many good young teams and if Bryant returns to Indiana as I think he will Archie Miller could have a conference championship his first season at the helm. Northwestern looks like a player next season too and won't surprise people like they did this season. Nice season for Gard to re-build at Wisconsin and I don't see the Badgers going away as they get more seasoned. The Hawks look good on the returning players front but will face some stiff competition IMO.

3 Big Ten Teams went to the Sweet 16.

Wisconsin and Purdue were pretty close to standout teams. Purdue just ran into a buzzsaw against possibly the best team in the tournament. Wisconsin lost on a last second shot and Michigan missed a last second shot.

Mental flub on my part as noted and I meant nobody went to the Elite 8. For having no dominant teams I thought the conference had a good run getting the three to the Sweet 16 and getting headline grabbing wins in the prior round. Michigan disappointed me the most pulling out Wagner and losing their game against a good Oregon team on offensive rebounds. We will likely have a different set of teams advancing next season and I see some good basketball ahead in the Big Ten with the coaching changes and all the young talent in the league. Perception towards us seemed a bit skewed IMO this season.

Think that is a smart move for Swanigan. He really doesn't have anything else to do at Purdue.

Illinois just lost Tillman...who they never really had. Likley going to Mizzou. The ghost of Groce just keeps on giving.

Biggie is smart - leaves that door open.. Meanwhile Justin Patton at Creighton who has had 1 flash in the pan season hires an agent when he absolutely doesn't have to. I think he'll be working at McDonald's here in Omaha in a few years.

I added Wilson since he's projected in the 1st round of mock drafts.
