I went backed and watched some of his tape after reading that. He does have a pretty good first step. He uses screens well to get open. I don’t think he will get all the way to the basket but he can use his quickness to get himself free to shoot the ball and he’s a really good shooter. I remember JBo talking about his shooting ability in the summer, if JBo thinks you can shoot, you can probably shoot.
JBo was probably guarding CJ in pickup games as he was launching those shots.
Consider the source. Same guy said Ellingson never missed in practice and can play the PG spot.
Exactly... I'll wait to see him in some games before I begin painting him as anything different than what Ellingson was.
I mean, Ellingson did just lead Drake to an MVC regular season championship from PG off the back of his shooting.

That's 10 guys, without Kriener or Dailey. Something's gotta give, or they'll be no flow to the games and potential discord.
no he's trim down, I thought about putting him there, he's just not much of an outside threat. There are a few guys who are interchangeable.
Yeah, I'm guessing he'll be a more effective 3 than PMac though.
