Let's start guessing:

PG - Toussaint / Bohannon / McCaffery
SG - Bohannon / Moss / Fredrick
SF - Wieskamp / McCaffery
PF - Cook / Pemsl
C - Garza / Nunge

If Fran is smart and ups his intensity on defense (Trapping, Pressing) with some of the players coming in and the anticipated depth he really needs to go to a deeper rotation and everyone will get their minutes.

From my perspective the flatness that the team came out of the last few games could maybe be remedied if he started with a pressing style defense. Get the guys out and running early and set the tone.

IF Cook comes back Fran could be very creative on some of his lineups and rotations especially if we have injuries, illness, foul trouble etc..

The title is correct in that this is way too early. Have to see how the roster shakes out more.

My early guess, assuming Cook goes.

JBo / Joe T / Cmac
Moss / JBo / Frederick
Wieskamp / Pmac / Dailey (transfer?)
Nunge / Pemsl
Garza / Kriener

This part of a Fran quote from today's HawkCentral story jumped out at me...

"CJ Fredrick is terrific. Gives us a quick, penetrating scoring guard who can play both spots."

quick? penetrating?

I went backed and watched some of his tape after reading that. He does have a pretty good first step. He uses screens well to get open. I don’t think he will get all the way to the basket but he can use his quickness to get himself free to shoot the ball and he’s a really good shooter. I remember JBo talking about his shooting ability in the summer, if JBo thinks you can shoot, you can probably shoot.

JBo was probably guarding CJ in pickup games as he was launching those shots.:)

That will make a lot of shooters look good.

If Joe T is starting day 1 over Moss I'll shocked. It'll be his what 3rd year of starting I think right? I mean Joe T would have to be Chris Paul kinda good for that to happen just about. Now that wouldn't hurt my feelings if that were to happen but I'll just hold my breath on that and not predict it. Also I think Kriener won't just surrender his mins to Pemsl that'll be quite the battle I bet and game to game I could see either of them not playing much at all.

Also I note that you omitted Dailey from this. I kinda hope he moves on and finds a better fit but who knows he might stay too...

That's 10 guys, without Kriener or Dailey. Something's gotta give, or they'll be no flow to the games and potential discord.

Edit - Just realized, it's 11 guys (2 McCafferys).

I don't see Toussaint coming in and starting right away. He might be used sparingly, possibly as defensive specialist, until he gets his feet wet.

Unless injury this is should be our starting lineup.

PG Bohannan
SG Moss
C Garza
PF Cook
SF Wieskamp

That will be a good lineup to get us in the tournament but wouldn't it be nice to actually get to the 'next level'?
