That's his overarching issue still today I think. The guy is capable but for whatever reason won't fully apply himself. Maybe that's why he didn't end up wanting to be at Iowa. Iowa wasn't going to let him loaf off. They woulda demanded his best and got that out of him. I'll maintain this had came here he woulda been a top 5 pick maybe even 1 overall. Yes, you are right in that he will be just fine. But what could've been is what we are talking about here. I am sure he has made plenty of NIL money at Alabama to keep his bills paid for a long time.
