No PC. That's not how it works. The truth is there. You just have to figure out which side is spinning. Trump can't even admit he called Tim Cook, Tim Apple, nor that he called Megan Markle nasty. It's on video and audio dipshit. Trump has admitted in the past that for him to be successful, he has to blur the line between truth and what he can get people to believe. He's been doing it his whole career...it's slight of hand. This is a guy who bilked people out of their savings with Trump University...and several condo projects where he put his name on them...then the project went belly up...and the investors lost everything. All the literature says Trump is the developer...but he's just a name to bring people in. Not one US bank would deal with him any longer...what does that tell you. Enter Saudi Arabia and Russia...that's where his money has come from. He's a con man.

I get your point, but whether or not I agree does not change the facts. The difference between fact and opinion is not lost on me. Not fond of the “alternative facts” that have become pervasive.

You're still piecing a bunch of truths, half truths, and complete lies together to make an educated guess as to what you believe. What I'm piecing together from your posts is you just listed a bunch of stuff that makes Trump crooked in your mind, let defend Democrats when someone else does the same thing. That leads me to believe you have no ability to be unbiased on the subject. Now if you said all politicians have their baggage and suck in their own way, you would have more credibility in the unbiased department. Instead you basically call one side all lies and the other all truths. I don't buy that's true for a second.

The biggest problem with most political facts is that they come from sources that have picked a side. You might think they're facts, when actually they re half truths or downright lies.

I'm speaking in general on this. I dont kniw enough about this exact topic to know what is actual fact. My rule of thumb is if both sides agree on something (which is rare) it can be called a fact. When Fox News says one thing and CNN says the other, neither are facts.

Yeah. Like the "science" that says the Moon has shrunk in its 4+ billiion year existence. When you can tell me how they got an accurate measurement of the Moon 4+ billion years ago, I'll tune in to today's "scientists". When Bill Nye is asked about "science", I liken it to the when Mayflower Madam Sidney Biddle Barrows was asked to comment on marriage and fidelity after the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal broke. I especially love when "former" mobsters fill us in on everything "wrong" in law enforcement these days. Nothing says "credibility" like Sammy the Bull Gravano or Michael Franzese weighing in on the evils of sports betting or drugs in society. And of course, we now have Chelsea Handler saying that Trump calling target shooting a form of entertainment is grounds for impeachment.

Where do people come up with this shit? It's like Professor on Gilligan's Island. Every frigging time he "had a plan", he puts Gilligan in the lead/on the point. Knowing--via history of a few dozen episodes--that, whatever the task, Gilligan was gonna F it way up. No matter, though, keep plodding...

You don't need to have an accurate measurement of the moon from 4 billion years ago to know it has shrunk in that time frame. The "how much" is just a guess based on the rate it is shrinking. Are you really saying you dont believe in science?

Specifically point out what you think is a lie that I have said. I'll do more research and give you the information. Trump University information is out there...he settled the case for 25 Million. 60 Minutes did a piece on the condos they were selling in Mexico that went belly up before anything was built and people lost millions. What specifically are you disputing as a lie? Do you believe he called Megan Markle nasty? You heard the tape right. You saw the video where he said Tim Apple right.

Here the thing...what the administration does is gaslight...damn near everything. Sarah Sanders testifies under oath that she made up the stuff about people in the FBI were calling them saying Comey wasn't liked. When it comes out she says her testimony wasn't accurate. What? You testified under oath.

You need to look the other direction dude...the subversion and controlling is coming from the right. Right now, our institutions are under attack from a President intent on subverting the Rule of Law. The constitution hasn't changed, the House has always had oversight of the Executive Branch. Disregarding subpoenas and oversight is obstruction. Trump should have known better to run for President. Your junk was going under a microscope...and you better be clean or the shit's going to hit the fan. Guess what...it's hitting the fan. No way in hell this ends well for him.

Reminds me of Dubuque's McDermott brothers back in the early nineties when they opposed local city government's plan to bring minority families to Dubuque and provide them jobs. First of all, they made the huge mistake of agreeing to appear on the Phil Donahue show. Second, Phil exposed them as ignornant and negligent toward the history of the cause they supposedly held so near and dear to their heart (Billy McDermott, among other things, didn't know who Rosa Parks was). To top it off, Billy, a local bodybuilder and powerlifter, was wearing clothing from a line called "Body Alive". This line was owned by the legendary Robbie Robertson, a professional bodybuilder who happened to be African American.

Again, sides are picked at times, I would agree. However, when you look at the wide variety of media, and the consequences if they report incorrect information, and you look carefully at the nuances, and if you faithfully fact check, I really think you can usually detect fact vs fiction. I think it is hard to argue that Fox reports news. They have been labeled correctly as Trump supporters regardless of facts, often ignoring statements that have come out of his mouth. I will admit that I have concluded that they cannot be trusted. All that said, any argument that the press is the enemy of the people, which we hear repeatedly from Trump and Fox, is an invitation to dictator speak credibility. As a high school teacher, early in my 40 year career as a public school educator at a variety of levels, I have taught many students the characteristics of propaganda. Trump, and, sadly, Fox are poster boys for examples of this dangerous position. Sorry for being long winded, but this is one of my passions...truth.

I already know your political affiliation just by you calling out Fox News tho. If I'm wrong and you're actually a Republican, then what you say has merit. All Republicans call out liberal media and all Democrats call out conservative media. Both think they are right. So while you say you are right and know its fact, plenty of other people are saying you're wrong and know that's a fact.

I'm not saying anything you said is wrong. I'm saying for everything one politician does, a politician on the other side is doing something equally as bad. You pointed out all the bad things Trump does and Trump supporters make light of it. Other people point out all the bad things Clinton's or Obama does and you make light of it. Everyone is right, but no one really knows everything because they only hear "facts" from people with agendas.

Not me. I don't care what cable news station from whence you're opinionating; if you're lying, I'm onto you. And I'm highly informed and possess impeccable critical thinking skills, so I know a liar when I see one. For example, while Shep Smith is on Fox, and Fox has a lot of intentional liars, I'm more apt to believe him over Al Sharpton, who's on a network that doesn't intentionally lie with such slavish devotion to Fat Orange Joffrey.

Also, since we're a bunch of white guys talking about the inner workings of the black man's mind, I'll offer this: I've had many black guys say "Jesus dude you're blacker than I am." I assume that this is because I can jump quite well. bust a rhyme on a dime and perhaps because "motherf&&&&" is my go-to. Also Django Unchained is pretty much my favorite movie of the past 20 years, watching those crackers get murdered sends a tingle down my leg. Mad props to my man Samuel L Jackson.
