Sokol could be starter for La Tech in opener

Sokol and the LA TECH Bulldogs could have clinched the division last week against Old Dominion in a game they lost in overtime, But a win against Rice puts them in the C-USA championship game against currently undefeated Marshall.

It's nice to keep up on a former player.

Maybe I should Facebook friend request my high school girlfriend.

Do judicial restrangement orders (see ghostbusters 2) pertain the FB, if not you should definitely FB Her. Prolly got stung by a bunch of bees and swolle up though.

Think about what you just said.

Then step back from the ledge.

It's going to be ok.

Stats through 11 games....

Sokol 59.5%, 2730 yds, 25 TD's

Rudock 64.2%, 2174 yds, 14 TD's

Big deal. Can Sokol audible to a short side of the field run, have the instincts to lock onto the check down option immediately or know when to run for 4 yards on 3rd and 8?

Those are what give you the best chance to win.

I know its early, but with five minutes to go in the 4th quarter and a 38 point lead, it may be time to anoint the LA Tech Bulldogs as Champions of the C-USA West Division, playing Marshall in the Conference USA Championship Game next Saturday.

The Sokol show starts in 25 minutes on ESPN2 as the Bulldogs meet the Thundering Herd with everything on the line.

Meanwhile the clones are well...the clones. 55-3 in the 4th quarter.

Ferentz should be embarrassed. The clones gave up an average of 40 points/game this year. We scored 17....at Home.

Pathetic. We're now on par with Toledo. Correction: we're worse. Toledo scored 30 on 'em.

I wanted to check it out the end of the game but AGAIN a college football on ESPN is running long. Time to go do something else.

Finished 7-20 for 72 yards and 1 int on the final drive. Not a good day at all for him.

You can look at it this way. Is it a good day when you're the starter for a team that wins its division and plays in a championship game? Or would it be better to be third string on a team that will never challenge for a division title under its current HC?

STATS ON THE YEAR:
3117 yards - 29 TDs - 12 INT (very JR-like, well not really)
