That is definitely a critical mass. I expect it might tip the scales for some of the original group of re-commits.
That is about 10% of their scholarship players that have transferred. How does their scholarship limit work exactly? Are they limited to no more than 15 per year and 65 total? If there is a hard 15 per year for the next four years limit. I could easily see their number of scholarship players in 4 years under 60 because they will not have the luxury of redshirting anyone and the normal attrition from transfers and career ending injuries.
If they miss on just 10% of their recruits not panning out over those years and another 10% leave then the have probably 50 scholarship players in the 2016 season (barely a 2 deep).
It will also be interesting to see who they get to fill the last 5 or so spots in their class this year. That could be an indicator of the quality of recruit they are going to get over the three remaining years of scholarship limitations.
