Shimonek & DW

Wow, look at that. Lots of yards and many touchdowns tonight.

Crucial 4th and Goal in Overtime and Shimo overthrows his receiver and the ball sails deep beyond the corner of the endzone completely out of reach and not catchable at all. Game over.

DW was a scratch today.

TT
5-5
2-5 IN CONFERENCE

kinda want to play them in a bowl game, make it happen delaney

who cares, no defense conference with flag football hand tackling not even bad arm tackling.

I think Big 12 is getting ready for rule changes to flag football or no Upper body tackling but only low body block tackling

In anticipation of our game against Purdue, I looked up Brandon Weghers' brother's stats for the Boilermakers over the past two season, in anticipation of sharing them here, but then I looked at his stats and I was like "woah" and decided not to share them here. Anyway, good luck little bro of a guy who played one season here eight years ago, originally from Sioux City but by way of IMG Academy in Sarasota or Bradenton or wherever it is....

Is it his brother or his kid? Really don't know the kid, but law of averages says...

Nic Shimonek left Iowa because he couldn't grasp the offense and the footwork necessary...by his own admission. Anything he does at TT is irrelevant. Again...he couldn't grasp a Kirk Ferentz offense....LOL

Willies no longer plays because "coaches decision". Who knew he was a huge PoS? Oh wait, we all did.

PS - Oliver Martin had 0 catches last week.

There are seriously people on here that still think Derrick Willis is an amazing WR and KF should have changed all the rules, and made all sorts of exceptions to keep Willis at Iowa.

Did BW actually enroll in Oklahoma? Or was it like he just said he was going to Oklahoma and then never showed up or something like that? Anyway, maybe we see his little bro this Saturday, or maybe we don't.

Well he will always have the winning TD vs Ball State to hang his hat on. And he knows he can dominate at the Juco level when he'd already had two years of D1 training under his belt. Never could figure out why Iowa fans fell in love with him over one practice in Des Moines. Blake Haluska had a good spring game too once and nobody was clamoring for him to play.

With bowl eligibility, and possibly coach bro's job, at stake tomorrows game with the TCU Horned Frogs has been rocked by the news that Kenny "Trill" Hill did not make the trip to Lubbock with his team. Its not clear if he is injured, suspended, or if he just didn't want to make the trip to Lubbock.
