OP wanted to prove some point about how KFs stubbornness ran these great players off

The "point" was as stupid then as it is now. Willies is a train wreck between the ears and Shimonek couldn't grasp a pro style offense and then got benched on a losing spread team.

I was hoping for Iowa to take down Texas Tech in a bowl game.

Texas wins and they're 7-5 and Iowa probably faces them in a bowl game. I'm worried it will be a repeat of 2006 when KF had a lead at half-time then choked it away.

Easy there big shoots, not many here are patting Kirk on the back. We'd just like to enjoy the win for more than 1 hour before we go back to yelling at each other.

This game tonight does not feature DW, Shimo, or DMX. But it does have classic B12 referees just giving Texas every call that they can.

Big12 is a creampuff conference, and ISU played an easier schedule.
 
Okay, were going into the 4th quarter and Texas Tech needs a touchdown to tie the game. Maybe they turn to Shimo to come off of the bench soon.....
