Seth Tuttle

Lol you act like iowa state has been this college basketball powerhouse recently compared to Iowa. Its hilarious. Iowa has only gone dancing 2 less times than Iowa State since 2000 and that was considered the Dark period of Iowa basketball. What's Iowa State's excuse for only making 6 tournaments in 15 years compared to Iowa's 4?

Iowa went dancing more than Iowa State in the 90s and FIVE more times than Iowa State in the 80's. And here you guys for some reason worship Johnny Orr like he was Dean Smith.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Of course the famed coach Orr He's a legend. He was so talented and ISU was so successful that he won 17 more games than he lost at ISU. Typical cyfan, believe what they say rather than the facts.

Congrats to UNI's basketball players getting on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The media loves a mid major run and UNI has done well against mid major's. They might win a first round game but I don't think there's any chance they get past the round of 32. They've had a great season and their players have done well but Fairfax and foreverdouche promoting them to be more than what they are is ridiculous. They're typical know nothing fans talking to knowledgeable basketball fans.

Well it seems he might be a pretty good player on the national level now doesn't it?

Who cares about an all district team...I had no idea such a thing even existed until just now. What are districts based on? Who decides which state a district is in? Talk about a really weird and screwy system.

Was he an all-american? I saw he was 3rd team all-american in USA Today and NBC sports. Meanwhile the Big Ten had two 1st team all americans in both.

Why is this thread still going on?

I think there are 3 reasons.

1 - I can't delete the thread.

2 - We don't play until tomorrow and this provides a distraction until then.

3 - When 2 (extremely low end) trolls keep saying outlandish things some enjoy making these low end trolls look less intelligent with each post.

Seth will finally play on a National level next week for the first time in his career. Most of the other players on that list play on a national level 2 times a week in conference play. I hope he does well.

GO PANTHERS!

When he plays against Power 5 conference players and can win the same award, then he might be "a pretty good player on the national level". Until then, as deanvogs said, he is a solid MVC player.

I look at it this way:

1) If UNI and ISU make the sweet 16 and Iowa doesn't, Failfax and ForeverIdiot will be all over the boards gloating about it and earn themselves a ban from the forums

or

2) Iowa does well and UNI/ISU fall on their faces and Failfax and ForeverIdiot go away with in embarrassment

Either way its a win/win for us so might as well just laugh at them for the next week.

Regardless of what Iowa or ISU do, I hope UNI kicks some major butt in the tournament.

I agree! Why let a d0uchnozzle like Fairfax bring us down! Seth Tuttle is a very solid MVC player, and I hope the Panthers make a deep NCAA run!

GO PANTHERS!

Right now Jerry Palm has them in a dangerous game against Wofford and then against Oklahoma after that. UNI better hope for different pairings if they plan on going anywhere

UNI has fallen to a 5 seed on CBS....Iowa is a 7. It is going to be entertaining to see what happens after Iowa wins the next 2 games. Kind of funny to UNI's seeding go down after winning their lousy conference.

Congrats to Seth Tuttle for making 3rd team All-American team from Usa Today. While fairfax and forever like to try to make everyone think Tuttle is hated by Iowa fans that is not true at all. He's had a very good season as has UNI but it's the insistence that Tuttle and UNI are more than what they are that is the problem. If anyone thought UNI was more than their record indicates they'd be a number one seed in the tournament and if anybody thought Tuttle is more of what the two would have us believe he'd be showing up in NBA mock drafts. We aren't slighting them, just being realistic.

I wouldn't worry about that loss Penn State is a proud basketball school they really have it rolling. If you can play the pesky Nittany Lions close the Kansas Jayhawks will be a breeze for you boys. Keep your chin up!
