Don't defend this behavior. It is indefensible. When that is on my screen and my wife walks by and I have to close it quickly, I get accused of being on xhamster and have to deal with 20 questions about what I was looking at and whether or not I still think she is hot and stuff. I'd much rather just come to HawkeyeNation for my news on recruits and the ballclub, not smut. Plus, kids read this site.
 
Hey it's 715 pm here in Atlanta and still no announcement made. Was that weekend announcement just a bunch of bogus crap or what?

The tweet I saw from a Sanderson of Rivals said it might happen this weekend. I think that 'announcement this weekend' thread was a bit misinterpreted from the start.

This is what it is really about. You need to stop with the holier than thou "this is for the children" stuff. Plenty of people that I like and respect on here including Jon would agree with you so I am not going to get into a urination match about this. Those of you who were offended by my posting of this so called "smut" i apologize. D*mn, I miss Vint at least someone would have enjoyed my "smut".

I agree with BTR. Far too much skin, far too little fabric, for a family-oriented sports message board. Threads here should be about five-star recruits bolting the Ferentz ship, not the weave of the young lady's skimpy clothing.

So if plenty of people and the board's proprietor don't want smut on here, why did you post smut on here. If this were my board, you'd have been banned.

Oh yeah, and on the picture of the gal. Wouldn't. Way too many freckles. Excess skin/fat on upper arms. Kind of bad looking sunburn on right arm that looks like a tell-tale sign of melanoma hitting soon. Hair color points to bad dye job and she is too poor to make the roots match the rest. Pretty gross typical Alabama trailer trash.

I agree with the spirit of what you're saying OK4. But if that pic is your definition of smut...you must go through every day offended. Or you never leave your house. Underwear commercials on TV show more skin.

For those that have daughters especially college age I get it........I was wrong. Those who think that children are exposed to too much, too soon, especially young men, I definitely get it......I can't even imagine what young men are expecting from young women these days. I guess the finger waving from a guy who has been close to being banned on multiple occasions for dumb sh!t got to me. For him it wasn't even about "the children", it was about not being nagged by his wife.


I was wrong and I apologize to everyone I offended. It won't happen again. Btw, looking at the girl now she is a little trailer trashy.

I've never been close to being banned for smut. I was banned from an earlier iteration of HN for accidentally typing an "a" instead of an "o" in Jon's name one single time. And I was almost banned for changing my avatar to a picture of a Northwestern fan that was very similar to a picture of an avatar of an Iowa fan.
