Lol. Mansell is going FCS. Wisconsin has Graham Mertz who was the MVP of the army all American bowl last year as their #2 guy right now. Wisconsin wouldn’t even take a phone call from Mansell.

There is always Hogan to push. I get the impression that Petras kind of surprised the coaches a bit with how ahead of the game he was and/or how fast he learns. He seemed to command the offense pretty well in his shorts stints playing.

Ya and not too mention Deuce is the most hyped QB recruit I can remember Iowa getting. It’s going to be tough for him though not getting in until the summer.

Does anyone know anything about Padilla’s mobility? He’s definitely much shorter than Stanley and Petras. Padilla is listed at 6’1 and that might be generous.

Can he play a "true point guard" position?

I hope you're right. Hogan has a leadership and a swagger that Iowa hasn't had since Tate. I hope he gets a fair shake to win the job as a true freshman, but forgive me if I doubt that would happen.

Well I hope Petras gets pushed hard in the spring, summer, and in August camp to find out if he is the starter. If he gets beat out then that is ok for the team if the new guy is a winner.
