Yeah it is after as many trips as we have made, it's the game im talking about, not the town or people, don't confuse the two
I get it. But the season is what the season is. And once again, we are headed to a bowl that is actually a little bit more than we may deserve, even though we've been told that is not supposed to happen anymore. Yes, it would help if we could parlay that into a win this year, and a MUCH better team next year. But first things first. I'm happy for the Hawks.

Penn State got a better bowl than they deserve, just as I suspected they would. They will have their hands plenty full wirh Kentucky.

Burnt out with this bowl game, I was California dreaming for the Holiday. But, it is much better than that piece of crap bowl game we were in last year

Completely agree there. I'm sick of Tampa and sick of playing SEC
I agree with that sentiment. I do find interesting that, three different years, without knowing exactly where they were going to go, KFz used the words, "someplace warm" only to have that someplace warm be Tampa and the Outback Bowl each time. Maybe he should use a different phrase.
There's no such things as a "January bowl game". That's not a real level. It's just a bowl game.

Blame the Outback Bowl people for wanting US - they picked ahead of the Holiday Bowl - and clearly thought we were still worth having - again. Agree with your sentiments about the Rotten Apple Ice (Toilet) Bowl.
I think PSU will be favored against Kentucky.

Say what you will. The two best bowl destinations are Tampa, the Outback and the now not hooked to the BT San Antonio, Alamo Bowl. I have been to Rose Bowl, Orlando, Miami, over the years, but the two experiences I liked best overall are Alamo and Outback. Holiday would have been nice...San Diego rocks! Anyway, way to go Hawks. Enjoy your bowl game!
