It was cold that winter. Froze the citrus crop.I've heard weather conditions at the 1983 Gator Bowl were miserable.
Temperatures in the 20's, damp and pentetrating, similiar to last year's Pinstripe.
Florida beat us, making the experience even more miserable.
Yeah it is after as many trips as we have made, it's the game im talking about, not the town or people, don't confuse the two
Yawn...iowa bowl trips are as stale as the program...probably not a coincidence
Man I was hoping San Diego . Miss St will be Stanford all over again.

I keep hearing Mississippi State. That'd be a slobberknocker of a game. 2 great defenses and mediocre offenses. We're a lot more balanced than they are though, they rely heavily on the run. Think Maryland, though Fitzgerald is a better passer than that.
Okay? You really need to get out more.
The last time the Hawks were in Tampa, it was SO warm (high I think was a ridiculous 87 degrees), that our black uniforms worked against us. You just do not know what the weather will be like on New Year's Day. Last year, New Year's Eve was 74 and beautiful. New Year's Day was 57 with a driving, nasty rain. A nice day right around 70 would be perfect.
l nearly froze to death in 2014.
