Outback v somebody new

I've heard weather conditions at the 1983 Gator Bowl were miserable.

Temperatures in the 20's, damp and pentetrating, similiar to last year's Pinstripe.

Florida beat us, making the experience even more miserable.
It was cold that winter. Froze the citrus crop.

But back to the game, John Alt is still having nightmares of Wilbur Marshall. He was a freak.

Interestingly, Marshall was the 11th pick in the following draft and Alt was the 21st. Marshall of course had an outstanding career and Alt's was pretty darn good too.

Yeah it is after as many trips as we have made, it's the game im talking about, not the town or people, don't confuse the two

Funny you should mention this, as I don't ever recall the CyClowns playing in the Outback Bowl...or ANY bowl after January 1 for that matter.

I keep hearing Mississippi State. That'd be a slobberknocker of a game. 2 great defenses and mediocre offenses. We're a lot more balanced than they are though, they rely heavily on the run. Think Maryland, though Fitzgerald is a better passer than that.

You really need to get out more.

The last time the Hawks were in Tampa, it was SO warm (high I think was a ridiculous 87 degrees), that our black uniforms worked against us. You just do not know what the weather will be like on New Year's Day. Last year, New Year's Eve was 74 and beautiful. New Year's Day was 57 with a driving, nasty rain. A nice day right around 70 would be perfect.

l nearly froze to death in 2014.
