Have to admit I've never seen 3 picked up flags. One of which was PI vs K-State and would have ended the game essentially.

Iowa State went prevent and it cost them. When it doesn't work, it's a hard loss.

The refs did pick up not one or two, but three flags today. Never seen that before.

The refs didn't cost ISU anything, but they sure didn't seem to have control of the game very well.

Then he called a timeout when their was confusion on the spot and KSU was not ready at all, basically giving them a chance to regroup. Very bad game from the ISU coaching staff. I've thought all year that their OC tries to get cute and spread the ball around, rather than focusing on the steady producers. David Montgomery should touch the ball at least 25-30 times a game, yet they try to incorporate 2 other guys that really haven't done much this season. It hurt them today, as well as a few other times this season.

Montgomery was hurt after the first series. The first series was very Montgomery heavy he was running very well, if he was healthy that game probably wasn't close. With Montgomery out he felt the wide receivers gave him the best matchup to go for the win on offense instead of just turning it over to the defense.

I realize he was out, but I was talking about throughout the season. They forgot he was on the roster against Texas and it cost them the game. Plus, today they were still getting 4 ypc with Croney/Warren, and then the puzzling decision to come out slinging the ball on a drive that could have ended the game.
