Oh so Classic Clown....

Let me tell you, our offense looks like the New England Patriots compared to Kansas State. KState must have the worst offense I've seen in a long time. My god, put eight in the box and make their QB beat you...he won't. I thought their QB was crying a few times too...weird.

I was watching that thinking that ISU should roll these guys after watching the first few series of QB runs and lame pass plays from KState. When I came back to catch the score...KState was driving for the winning TD. Penn State has a pretty good offense and seniors made plays to beat us on that last drive. This was a bunch of misfits schlepping their way to Tune Town to beat ISU.

Since you have had one winning season in the last ten years...I guess you would love 7-5 every year. What you forget is that two years ago we went 12-2...with an undefeated regular season. Also, the Knute Rockney of Iowa State Football, Matt Campbell, has never beaten Ferentz. Let me spell it out for you...it's hard to come on here with any arguments when Campbell has yet to beat Iowa, and you have consistently been one of the worst programs in college football over the past 30 years.

No it's not, because you dolts are just as delusional as we are, just at a higher level. And that 44-41? If we suck, then that means you are 3 points above suck. The gap isn't as great as you want to think it is. We are a good coach away from being you, you are a bad coach away from being us. But if it ever gets to that point, I'm sure you will back out of the cy-hawk game just like before.

Shouldn't you be complaining about the officiating or something right now and talking about how the B12 has a vendetta against Iowa State. Read the threads over on your site. None of us are saying we are a great team...we had an inconsistent up and down year because we were playing a ton of young players, especially on offense. Just go through the history of Kirk Ferentz, he's won big games and B10 Championships. Is it perfect and without frustration...no...but don't compare him to what's happened at Iowa State over the past 19 years. It's not an argument dude.
 
Two things:

Cool to see "Iowa" reach out and beat ISU twice in one season (Snyder coached under Hayden for 14 years, including a decade @ Iowa)

Their 7-5 record will be considered more than a successful season while Iowa's won't. That says a lot.
 
Oh...and I wasn't necessarily slamming ISU...I was shocked they didn't beat KState because what I watched in the first half, KState's offense was terrible. And by the way, the B12 isn't known for playing defense so KState's offense being rated #96 should be taken with a grain of salt. I know that was also their third string QB, so maybe that was some of it...they just looked hapless to me on offense. I expected ISU to hammer them.

Why complain, it is what it is, and who is comparing the two? Re-read my post. And as far as none of you being happy, that is true, but the fact is, 7-5 really is about it for you, the schedule plays out in your favor you hit ten wins, super. That 12-0 start you had a couple years back was a fluke, everyone knew it but you, you just hit the jackpot. You did have 20 straight losing seasons, something even lowly us never did, and it could happen again, and hopefully will. Maybe with Brian at the helm.

If 12-0 is so easy. Why doesn't every one do it? When was Iowa State's last outright conference championship? 1903 or something?

Face it. Iowa just beat Nebraska, the same Nebraska that delivered a annual smack down on Iowa State. And that's 3 in a row for Iowa versus Nebraska. 4 out of the last 5 years.

Even if it was a "fluke", which it wasn't, it was better than any season Iowa State has ever had so it doesn't say much for your program. Heck in 2004 you were handed the B12 north crown with a chance to play in the B12 championship game and you crapped the bed against a bad Missouri team on your home field. If that wasn't bad enough you turned around and crapped the bed again the very next season in the very last game. You guys can't even finish your "fluke" seasons.
