Mac used to win at ISU, Rhoads used to win at ISU and it didnt' affect my life at all. Clown fans still think 7-5 is a historically awesome season and Hawk fans find it a disappointment.

I can look up the history of this site too. Plenty of you do, or did, depends on the week.

Nobody on here calls Iowa an elite program. Iowa has had elite years (B1G Championships, BCS bowl appearances, top 10 finishes). That certainly doesn't make Iowa and elite program.

Have to admit I've never seen 3 picked up flags. One of which was PI vs K-State and would have ended the game essentially.

As soon as the flag was thrown, I said the game is over. And then I realized I had seen numerous flags picked up so I retracted my statement a few seconds before they picked it up.

Campbell was stupid for throwing the ball on their last drive. Old Kirk would have ran the ball and let KSU use there timeouts then punt. They gave KSU too much time. There is a time for being conservative.

Why not let their LB run the wildcat, throwing only if he has a wide open receiver within 10 yards of the LOS? No need to take a chance of stopping the clock in that situation.

I'm not sure historic has been thrown out there. In year 2 of his coaching tenure 7 wins was going to be considered very good, the analogy would be Fry getting 7 wins in his 2nd year. Hawk fans would have been ecstatic. I know in year 3 Fry won the league but ISU really wasn't far from at least competing in the CCG in year 2 and with wins over two top 5 ranked teams at the time it wasn't like they just beat patsies. Throw in the fact they had to play 3 QB's (Parks, Kempt, and the freshmen Noland) to win 7 games and either your not be honest or rational.

I triggered superfan. It's obvious you take your sports a little too seriously, so I'm sorry you can't handle a little back and forth from a fan of a far inferior team. Hopefully Iowa stays relevant for you, because I really don't think you could handle the alternative.
