The thing is they dont have to be exclusive of each other. Why cant we be both? Why do we have to win ugly every damn week?

At what point does this run its course that winning and losingugly is the only way ti play the game?

If we are going to win 7.5 game s a season, I would rather do it tossing the ball around and doing some fun things with trick plays or wild cats or what ever.

This shit of running an outdated offense is tiresome. Crap out 1939 offense was more exciting than this.

Hawkeye fans aren’t irrational when you compare us with other programs with a long tenured coach . Virginia Tech eventually started going to top tier bowl games on a regular basis with Frank . Keep in mind Virginia Tech was one of the worst teams in the country when he took over
