I hated those little PT boats when I played Sea Wolf.

They were as annoying as buzzing flies.

The only time I hit them was when I aiming for something else.

How huge was that blown layup by Rutgers? That was the nail on the coffin.

That was HUGE. If he makes that bunny, the game is tied. Then, Rutgers doesn't need to foul and Iowa has to run a real offense and get a basket. That could easily have gone poorly and ended with a loss. Instead, he misses the bunny, Connor makes four FTs, Iowa wins.

I thought we went into the prevent offense too early.

Rutgers was uncomfortable playing uptempo.

If they had pulled that game out with the score in the eighties it would have been all time thievery.

Not the first time I've compared Megan and Luka in my mind.

I don’t care about the technical. Fran needed to do something to get the ref to call fouls in the second half. That is laughable that they called only 3 or 4 fouls on Rutgers all half long, and even let 2 intentional fouls (one by Joe and one by Kriener) at the end of the half.

Someone saw this coming a mile away. It was obvious that we needed fouls to be called fouls. Rutgers wants to mug you and hack you all over the court. The fact only 3 or 4 fouls were called against them in the first half was criminal.

Those usually go in vs Iowa...pulled it off with cred in the Karma Bank...Iowa was due.

Really good win.

Garza could end up on the Mt Rushmore of Iowa Basketball if he can keep rolling like this and comes back.

If we get a game where Garza, Weezy, CJF all have a great night and solid play from the role players...could blow some teams out.

Hopefully vs Wisconsin...get a huge lead, then call some last minute timeouts to set up plays to score more.
