Basically Wash your hands:

:
Also do not touch your face, especially your mouth, nose and eyes

Do not shake anyone's hand ever

When you go to Hy-Vee, any shop, use the wipes they have just inside the door and wipe the handle of the shopping carts, then when you leave, use the wipes to clean your hands

Number One: Wash Your Hands all the time

No chance in hell some sort of total lockdown happens. People are still going to congregate, visit the mall, hit the bars, gym, etc. What's really going to happen is several months after the virus has become a non-issue, a vaccine will be introduced and they'll claim that's what saved us all.
I have zero doubt that political people on both sides will try to use whatever happens, good or bad, to their electoral and monetarial advantage. No doubt in my mind.

I think you're just worried because you and Huckfinn fit into the demographic dying from this. :D
No disease is gonna kill me unless it happens within a matter of hours. As soon as I find out I’m definitely dying from some bug or virus, fryowa’s the one who’s gonna decide when my heart stops ticking :)

If you are bitching about this you need to think about what they are trying to do. They aren't trying to protect the young and healthy that when infected will have a minor case. They are protecting the immunocompromised. Large gatherings make it much easier for the virus to be spread by a single carrier to MANY more. Then these new infections to many more and so on. It builds exponentially. It isn't about keeping YOU from getting the virus. It is about EVERYONE and keeping the virus from spreading. If you get it you are going to take it home and spread it to your family, your kids, parents, grandparents. I get it it, it is slightly inconvenient. I work in direct contract with patents and I am not concerned for my personal safety. I am concerned about spreading the virus to others.

Think about this and learn about how the virus spreads and why these "radical" precautions are being taken. If you still feel the same way you are selfish and maliciously ignorant.

Just to be clear. I am 74. I am not in panic mode. I will leave on a month long road trip to Florida in April. I will stay in motels, eat in restaurants, go on day cruises, fishing, state parks, etc. Next week, I will attend a play in Milwaukee with my daughter in law and grandson. Not worried, even though the audience will be 2000 strong. Yes, there are crazy over reactions out there. Not unusual. What I cannot fathom is those who ignore the facts in regard to this virus and crow about how they are young and healthy and have no worries. That is irresponsible over reaction in the opposite direction. You can be a carrier. You can infect others. Have a social conscience and show concern for others. Just be smart. If things change, for better or worse, react in a logical fashion. I will keep up with the news and adjust. I hope you will do the same. Right now, today, The World Health Organization has defined this virus outbreak as a “pandemic.” This is the first such definition in 11 years. So, don’t be glib.

Be careful in your showers! News reports show that some people slip and fall and even die!
That happened to the actor who played Gozzo the loan shark in the first two Rocky movies. He slipped in the shower and lacerated the back of his head when he crashed through the glass. He got light headed, laid down, and never woke up. He was only forty or thereabouts.

Thank God, somebody gets it and shows compassion. Arvada and your “likes friends” may want to reconsider your comments.

Only a matter of time before the NCAA'S are cancelled.

Rotten timing.

This thing will be a memory in two months but that doesn't do anyone any good now.
