Nebraska Football = Quality Human Beings

Yeah...you talk alot about your character when you are 8-16 the past two years and haven't played in a bowl game in 3 years. Character is the number one thing you want to bring up and focus on.

I'm sure he's got a good class, but if you are counting on freshman to make the difference...he's two years away at least. Until your defense can stop a bunch of grandmothers from steamrolling them...well...you aren't winning much.

His defense, as bad as it was, came damn close to beating Iowa in Kinnick. And he probably has the best QB, and second best player overall, in the division for at least the next 2 years.

For the life of me I don't understand Iowa fans going after this guy. People clowned on him all year long and his team almost beat Iowa and his recruiting the last 2 years has been good. I think he spent the early signing period last year coaching in Florida and he still had a good class.

I'm not going to bash him. Nobody that knows football at all expected a quick turn around of the mess Riley left. Hoped for maybe but for those that expected it their just unrealistic idiots. I thought I read that 8 of the top 10 of their class they got were offensive players. Till they get that D turned around their going to keep struggling. Unless they want to copy Oklahoma and strait up try to just outscore people..

Nebraska is going to be very difficult to beat. Difficult, but not impossible.

I have no problem with Frost. He will be a fine coach for them. It is their fans that are hard to take sometimes. Spend a lot of time in Omaha and Lincoln and it will become clear to you. I already have.

Our team will show up and play extremely hard, as they have in every game against Nebraska since they joined the Big Ten.

This is a great rivalry. These are the games you live for as a fan.

The 31-28 victory, with a walk off field goal, was sweet.

Valid point, but at the same time then based on that logic alone shouldn't that also reflect in the way both Frost and the fan base present themselves? In my opinion its a "you want respect you better be ready to earn it" world. Until I see some sort of humility out of him (or the fan base) or he earns it on the field then I think he and the program continue to be fair game.

Sure I get what your saying. Most coaches think their shit don't stink he wouldn't be the first. So yeah that side of it I see what you mean.

I have a problem with Nebraska fans. I don't particularly have a problem with Scott Frost. I actually can identify with him more than their fans, I think. He hasn't done anything to bother me except where that stupid read hat with the "N" on it.

"Win, graduate, do it the right way." Sound familiar?

He's lying. No one says Human beings twice in 30 seconds unless they are the devil. He has clearly brought his underworld underlings up to posses the body of Nebraska football players.

thanks for that, have not laughed out loud reading this forum for a long time.

Does that say a lot about Nebby's defense and their coaching or Iowa's offensive lack of going for the jugular. If the hawks dont fake the fg they have an 18 point lead with 18 minutes to play. If they score the TD before even having to fake the FG then they have a better than 3 TD lead with 18 minutes to go. That is not Nebby being right in the game at that point.

Then of course Iowa's Dee starts doing their 4th qtr thing of letting teams go on long drives for TDs after having bottled up that same team for 3 qtrs (granted NEbby was in 4 down mode after the missed fake FG).

REcinos made the game winner but also had a chance to put them away earlier so the hawks had the fire power to score 35 points but they didnt and it left the door open.

I dont know Frost, only what he does on tv and in the papers, but he seems to have too much hubris for being 2-6 and I have noticed what others say that he will throw his own players under the bus, not good.

Seriously, you don't understand why people clown on him? Here's a few examples:

1) He did nothing to slow down the Nebraska hype machine in the summer. I think he got swept up in the Nebraska delusional state. His AD also said that Michigan and OSU are practicing a little harder now that Frost is there.

2) Save the B10 Championship Date: This was classic...I get what he was doing, but sometimes things are better left unsaid...you are 0-4 and he's talking about saving the date or keeping open the B10 Championship date.

3) As the losses starting adding to the record...his press conferences got a steady drone of whining.

4) They came damn close to beating Iowa because our coaching staff made a bonehead decision...fake field goal...when you could go up 3 scores. He also needed a fake punt from his own 12 to go well...and all the ducks fell into place. Blame our coaching staff for that close call. The fact is...they still lost their fourth in a row to Iowa.

I know he's recruiting well...but I'm not going to worry about him until he beats us the first time. With what we have coming back on defense...well...next year isn't going to be a walk in the park for him to beat Iowa and avoid 5 in a row. I like our chances. Late November game...it usually doesn't bode well for an offense like theirs.

I haven't seen Frost this emotional since his role in The Davinci Code:

All of this talk about what a mess Nebraska was in yet they've had top 25 recruiting classes the past 3 years and #26 in 2016. It wasn't like their roster was void of talent. Meanwhile here at Iowa we consistently get recruiting classes that rank in the mid 30s.

It's not the talent, it's the coaching.
