OK...so you ask...what's a 60 year old guy doing sticking this stuff on his iPod?.....I was looking for something pretty hard core for my weight work outs and my son (age 27) suggested them. While they do sound a lot like AC/DC, they drive it hard, very un-apologetically so.

Like many, many others, Billy was heavily influenced by Jimmy Page. But there were strong Queen and Pink Floyd echoes in some of his music too.

Without googling, I do remember he asked for a Queen member to produce one of his albums, and, Freddie co-sang a couple songs on one of them.

Not a song post, BUT, I just scored two tickets (row 23) at the Tax Slayer arena in Moline (Quad Cities) for a Sept 4th show. One of my favorite bands of all all all time. Long live Walter.
