Bit of info found in a press release. https://www.kcci.com/article/report-missing-20-year-old-mollie-tibbetts-found-dead/22786847

The Iowa Department of Public Safety said earlier today a body was located by law enforcement authorities in rural Poweshiek County. Investigators are working to confirm the identity and will have more information available at a 4:00 p.m. press conference. There will be no further information released from law enforcement until the press conference.

No information has been released about where the body was found. However, law enforcement have blocked off an area south and west of Guernsey, where KCCI has a news crew working to gather more information.

Like I said earlier in this thread...the family should get 30 minutes in a cage with the perp with the weapon of their choice. This is an innocent who had her whole life ahead her and who deserved better. Anger doesn't even tell the story when I think about someone who could do this. Quick trial, death penalty.

Hey, what about that other girl in her 20s that was found in a ditch? How come nobody gave a shit about her?

I completely understand why "lynchings" happen back in the day.

In cases like these I actually disagree with the death penalty. I'd rather have the person spend the rest of their life rotting away in prison. getting gang banged in prison is a much more severe penalty than a quick and painless death.

"Jake a few days ago"? Please elaborate...
Jake was a 16 year old autistic boy from Laport City area. He went missing back in April. Last week authorities found his remains, I believe by a creek near where he lived. Many think his step dad has something to do with it, who knows?

Guernsey is about 11 miles from Brooklyn by foot, so doubtful she jogged that far.

Thanks. It didn't make the news in Florida, unfortunately. Sounds very sad, especially if the stepfather is involved.

I don't get it. I just don't understand the shit some people are capable of. I have no patience or tolerance for those who commit violent crime against others.

Take a look at our society, our culture.
Look at our values.
Look at the things we are exposed to.
Look at mental health, and how little most people care about it.
We live in a selfish, materialistic, hypocritical, stressed, and generally fucked up world, with no change for the better in sight.

So, I actually DO kinda get it.

Dude...go and study the term. This is a terrible comment. The thought of vigilante justice is understandable, but lynching has a connotation that isn't appropriate. First of all, many of those lynched were innocent people. If someone did commit a crime and they couldn't find that person, often their family was lynched.

I like where you were going with the extreme measures to get justice...but you took a decidedly wrong turn here.

Its not guaranteed painless. Its not like going to sleep. They stop the heart.

Did you see where Dr Larry was transferred after an assault?
