Megan Gustafson

Megan could be the first Hawk to have back to back 800 point seasons. She's sitting at 682 points right now. Megan is chasing the last record she hasn't broken yet of Jantel Lavender's and it's the rebound record. Jantel collected 1422 rebounds for her career and Megan right now has 1303. So it's possible for Megan to get another B1G record before her career is over. Don't forget Sunday is a huge game for the Hawks and all of the Hawk fans. #1 Maryland will be in Carver to take on #2 Hawkeyes for quite possibly the BiG Title! Megan is the best player in college. She needs to have Iowa do well in the BTT and make a run in the NCAA's. She needs exposure to the national media. The media is still thinking she gets her numbers against inferior competition. Hopefully she'll open some eyes in the tournaments.
 
Iowa needs to retire her number 10. She is a once in a lifetime generational player. It will be a long time before another female will even come close to what she has done here at Iowa. She will be a Hawkeye legend!
