42-31 at the half. We make a little run of it. Xavier definitely has the athletic advantage. We are just going to have to find away to not give up easy baskets off the cutters and don't give Xavier second chance points in the second half.

Got to also shoot a little better in the second half.
 
Ugly game the whole team needs to step up and get it together in the second half. Mccabe in foul trouble with 3 already.

Refs are calling a tight questionable game right now.

hawks are looking sluggish and cartwright was playing completely out of control while he was in. Can not really find to many good points in this first half of ball. They played the zone d well.
 
I think they're competing pretty well right now.....they just don't have a post presence to compete with their inside guys. However, the refs aren't doing us any favors, that's for sure.

If the coaching staff can come up with something on the defensive end to keep them from the middle of our zone D, I think we can make a game of it.
 
Thank goodness Gatens is back leading us with 9 points.

Looks like floor is extremely slippery and refs are blowing their whistles too much.

If we can't make open shots in the second half we have no chance to win
 
May shooting just 1-7 from the floor now. Have we just run into teams that can really shoot, or is our defense just what the doctor ordered for teams that have been struggling?
 
Fran desperately needs to get more size in here.

Yes, the shooting has been real bad this second half.
