While I'm not as high on Garza as others I certainly won't be disappointed if we land him.
In no way is a player a waste of a scholarship if they aren't 1st team all conference. Bronson Koenig, would be a waste of a scholarship by that logic and he's played in two Final fours, a national championship game, and sweet 16 game and he will probably never make 1st team all Big 10 (Assuming Tremble is healthy).
It was a stupid comment and now lightning is in full defense mode. Admit you were wrong and move on.

I never said such a thing. I claimed he was not a P5 conf difference maker. When I offered a wager on his future, I set All Conf as my terms for the wager. You and the rest made the leap all by yourselves.
He's got poor feet and he's not very athletic. Reminds me of Woodbury. I'm not interested in 4 more years of Woodbury.

So if I understand lightning's theory a team should only have 5 players who are good enough to be all conference. Reserves aren't going to be all conference so the starting 5 would play every minute.
This is either really funny or really stupid. I wish I had confirmation on how he meant it.

Why do you always backtrack and change your story. If you just would have said he is no Tyler Cook, nobody would argue with you. If you just would have said that you don't see him being 1st team All B1G, nobody argues with you. That ain't your style though, you have to just rip the kid and the coaches offering him like you are a better authority on who deserves a D1 Scholarship over all the coaches I listed.
