It was a road game early in the season, strange things happen.....I think it will be a good game, but it is tough to win on the road anywhere...we saw that tonight. I think ISU beats Iowa because it's at Hilton.

Agree you guys beat us. How big of a loss is Lutz?
I fully expect ISU and Drake to beat Iowa unless proven otherwise.

With a solid year of experience under their belt....Hate to say it, but I agree with you. It will be interesting to see what Iowa looks like when they play teams with a pulse. Basically the same group as last year.

That is spot on, Bobby Lutz was a HUGE hire last year, too bad he needed to be closer to his ailing father and his daughter is now a freshman at North Carolina State...I honestly think ISU needs someone on the bench that has been a HC before...In the back of my mind I still remember how Clyde Drexler failed miserably at his alma mater, Houston, I hope it doesn't happen to the Mayor....I just got home from the game. I am a Drake Law Grad so I was happy.
ISU is not well coached. Players are running that team. No adjustments during the game. Their best "play" is Royce White playing the game one on one.
wow that email from pollard is absolutely DRIPPING with doucsheyness

Wayne Morgan did bring a solid 2-3 defense from his days under Jim Boeheim....but other than that you're right...Players are running the team? Sounds like the Wayne Morgan era.
Pretty big. In a game like tonight, his experience could have made the difference. Some defensive adjustments should have been made, but I think the problem was more that the intensity wasn't there.
Lots of missed free throws, flat-footed defense, missed layups. In short, if you don't have the mental fortitude and focus on the road, you lose. I hope it's a learning experience for them.
I hope FH succeeds also, but losing to a team coached by Phelps definately sends up red flags. I was hoping talent could make up for lack of coaching experiece for awhile. That is spot on, Bobby Lutz was a HUGE hire last year, too bad he needed to be closer to his ailing father and his daughter is now a freshman at North Carolina State...I honestly think ISU needs someone on the bench that has been a HC before...In the back of my mind I still remember how Clyde Drexler failed miserably at his alma mater, Houston, I hope it doesn't happen to the Mayor....
No, I really liked the switching every single screen no matter who was setting it defensive strategy. It's the first I've ever seen it done. I'm hoping it catches on, Fred is once again ahead of the curve here.Pretty big. In a game like tonight, his experience could have made the difference.
