Congrats to Wisky they are an incredible team. Really fun to watch Bo Ryan is an incredible coach! Hope they take out Kentucky. How that makes Iowa any better is beyond me. Aren't you guys supposed to hate Wisconsin? You are their B!

Coming from a guy who is a fan of a team that is in a conference that has literally rode on the coattails of KU for most of it's existence your attempt at an insult is hilarious. The B12 is a freaking joke without KU. Lately it has been a freaking joke with them and they are still dominating the conference.
By the way, did you forget about Michigan State? They are still playing. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat OU tonight either.

Big12 has one win over a single digit seed, and it's conference champ isn't even the best team in it's state LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL and losses to #14, #14. I thought you said the Big12 was good.
B1G has wins over #10, #10, #7, #8, #4, #2, and it's best win is by MSU, not Wisky.

I hate KU. I respect what they have done and Bill Self is unreal. Iowa fans seem to genuinely pull for Wisky I don't understand it. I admit I thought the Big 12 would do better in the tournament it doesn't mean I was pulling for KU and Baylor etc...Hate them. You rag on the Big 12 and they have fricken owned the Hawkeyes lately. I think you are like 1-6 in your last 7 head to head matchups. Got absolutely blasted by Baylor Texas and Iowa State in that time. Never seen a better example of little brother getting embarassed so let's turn to the success of our rivals wisky and mich state. Th let are great programs. Iowa is not...at all.

The frustration of being an ISU fan has consumed you. Why in the hell do you want to come on a rival message board and drool about meaningless crap? The Big 12 is and has been a very average league in Basketball and nothing you can say can change that. It is a league that is dependent on transfers and Juco players and the low academic standards allow for that.
ISU Basketball is doing ok but has turned into the UNLV of the Midwest to do it.

What are you talking about?? Never said ISU is a great program...yet. They have gone back to back years of a top 3 seed. Next year will be no different. After next year how many programs can say they were a top 3 seed for three consecutive years? Not many. Deny it all you want. Fred is building a great Program. Not there quite yet.

Man they must have a great educational institution in the state penn. If you can play bball they will get you in if you can read and write. Team A: 7 4* recruits in last 5 years (0 conference titles, 4 NCAA tournament wins, 1 sweet 16)
Team B: 7 4* recruits in last 5 years (0 conference titles, 5 NCAA tournament wins, 2 sweet 16's, 1 elite 8)
Team C: 7 5* recruits 5 4* recruits in last 3 years (3 conference titles, 4 NCAA wins, 1 sweet 16)

It would mean the "best conference" in basketball is not represented in the Elite 8. While the Big 10 would have 2 Elite 8 teams in a down year for the conference.

LOL The Elite 8 is becoming a myth for the B12, they may entire classes enter college and graduate without anyone from that conference playing in the Elite 8. That is some Atlantic Sun or MAAC type ****.
I don't know if Fred will ever make Iowa State a great program, but I will agree they aren't quite there yet. I personally don't think Iowa State will ever be great under Hoiberg. It would be pretty strange if Iowa state was a great program no matter who their coach would be. They have been spending a lot of money on recruiting though. Iowa State has done pretty good relying on guys that are only going to be there for a year or two. I see your back on this board so I imagine you have gotten over your team losing in the first round. I admit I always enjoy it a little more when Iowa State and UNI lose.

So let me get this straight here...I know you Hawk fans are so proud of your football program. So Kirk Ferentz pulls Iowa out of the gutter and has three straight top 10 teams (2002-2004 I believe). You guys considered yourself a pretty elite program at that time, no? Bullies of the Big Ten or something like that? Bobby Sanders. Clark. Kaeding. Gallery. Banks. Man you guys were great I admit those teams were really good. Ferentz got a lifetime deal for that.
ISU was a 3 seed the past two years which means they were around 8-12 best team in the country. I think everyone can agree they will be very good next year Id imagine a top 3 seed yet again And top ten program three years in a row. Iowa football was considered pretty elite heck even Grandpa referred to these bowl games earlier. Similar success for ISU bball and not considered elite? I don't know somewhat fair comparison..no?
