ISU point guard to transfer

Freddie wants Custer to move on for the same reason he has shown others the door. After watching him everyday in practice Freddie know now that the kid just isn't good enough to cut it. So being that he is a smart dude, he trims the fat and goes after the next one. Freddie has always tried to upgrade the roster at all times, by recruiting over kids, and by encouraging kids to move on. Not sure why this makes ISU fans mad, it is working for him.

Didn't even read this post before I made mine, but agreed.

So much for jump starting the program and then taking a more "traditional" approach. Clearly, he is all into sticking to what has been working.

I and a lot of ISU fans thought that would happen. I was wrong, and I think part of is a self perpetuating. With Williams getting his release, we're probably going to have to with Noskowiak, some JuCo/5th year big guy, and two sit one/play two transfers since we're losing so many guys next season.

Regardless there have been relatively few successes in high school recruiting vs. transfer recruiting I'm good with the status quo.

I tried to explain this to you awhile ago Bryce. Good to see that you have finally seen the light.
