Isaiah Moss

Can't argue but I think his highest potential and value he can bring to the team is his defense. He's not close now but I think his man to man defense on a ball handler is pretty good. He's fairly tall and long but still has the quickness to hang with guards.

Isaiah's D just might be better than it appears. Whomever he is guarding usually doesn't score and passes the ball to someone else. Moss gets back on D very quickly and is always seems to be in position staying in front of his opponent preventing a drive to the basket. His spacing is very good, not only preventing the uncontested drives that have been killing us, but also he is within range of hampering a three attempt.....

Would love to hear why Fran thought it would be a good idea to sit Moss virtually the last 10 minutes of regulation and two overtimes. He single-handedly kept us in the game in the first half and played well in the 2nd half in the limited opportunities he had. Makes zero sense.

Don't be surprised if Moss transfers.
Didn't peg you as a troll. Why on earth would Moss transfer?!?

Do think if the reason Moss is sitting at the end of games is because Fran wants Baer, Jok, and JB on the floor, then he should consider playing Baer at PF during that time. He is our leading rebounder and shot blocker after all. Moss needs to be playing at the end of games. Period.

How high was he on that dunk where he could have passed to Pemsl? The replay looked like he could have hung on the rim by his elbow.

Just because someone says something you don't agree with, doesn't mean that person is a troll.

Fran played Ellingson over Moss last night and has done so many times throughout the year in crunch time. Uhl was playing clutch minutes over Baer a lot of times too last night and was the first man off the bench over Baer. Neither of those substitution patterns make any bit of sense. Fran wanted to point the finger at the refs after the game (which was bad) but he needs to take a good long look in the mirror. We all know he won't however because he continues to make the same coaching decisions effective or otherwise.
If it's not timeouts, it's substitutions, it's play calling, and defensive strategy; it's usually a combination.

He had 18 points at about the 15:00 mark of the 2nd half was removed from the game and barely played again until the end of regulation. It has to be frustrating to have a game like that and barely play in the 2nd half of a close game.

Yeah, I don't get it. He started last night's game. Had a huge game, and then rides the pine most of the 2nd half. ???

I agree. Once Fran decided to sub Williams for Bohannon at least once for defensive purposes, I thought he would do the same with Moss for Ellingson. Plus, Moss can get his own shot on those end of game possessions.

saying he will transfer without any sort of indication is kind of trolling... i mean considering the kid red-shirted even tho he didn't want to but coaches thought it best and is now a starter on the team as a freshman.

This was completely the right move but I never thought Fran would do it. First off, he hasn't all year; second, he has Joke guard the best opposing guard. Not only is Jok our worst defender but it tires him out on the offensive end.

I didn't say he was going to transfer, I said "don't be surprised if Moss transfers."
Intentionally misconstruing someone's comments might be considered trolling....

Don't be surprised if Pemsl transfers

I actually wouldn't be surprised by this, or any of our big men. We have too many right now where guys don't get consistent minutes and we bring in two more 6'11 guys next year.
Cook and Baer aren't going anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Uhl (grad transfer), Pemsl, Wagner, or Kreiner transfer in the offseason. They're definitely not all staying with the addition of two more bigs added into the mix.

FTR: I do not think Moss will transfer, but if Fran keeps holding him out in the second half like he has, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Moss decided to utilize his talents at another school.

Fran has been playing Baer over Moss. You're not making any sense and seem to be acting very emotionally.

what is emotional about anything I said? What I said makes about as much sense as what you said and kind of is my point. Moss is freshman averaging close to 18 minutes a game and already sat out a year to get better and work on his game for this coaching staff, I... for one, would be very surprised if Moss transfers out of here.
