I think that's why he was out for large portions of the 1st half - Fran was not pleased but unfortunately, he's our best weapon and he needs to be out there in a game like last night. He shot maybe the worst I've seen from him this season. I give Purdue all the credit, that's a good team. Iowa got rocked, my real takeaway is - Purdue is good, Iowa is young and we can expect more roller coaster rides this season.
Purdue is much better than last year. They are currently shooting 41% as a team from 3 pt. range, and with the inside games of Haas and Swanigan, they are going to be a tough out come NCAA tournament time.
