The Muscatine/Linn-Mar game had some questionable calls. Joe drives in and gets banged and then tripped - no call. The next trip he goes in for a layup untouched and a foul is called. Happened a lot on both ends of the floor.

I talked to a guy who has been to every North game this year. Said he played really bad in that last game. I also didn't get the sense that he was really impressed with him overall either. He didn't say anything bad, just nothing really good either. I've got a friend that watches a lot of high school basketball too. He's seen him a few times and isn't surprised at all he doesn't have many offers yet. I wonder what the disconnect is between his stats (which are really good) and actually watching him play (which doesnt seem to leave the greatest impression).

I’ve heard the same thing. Heard that he is very quick but many of his steals are reach around hacks that most in the metro feel are fouls or would be at the next level. It also may not work when the competition is better. He then gets many of his points as runnouts from the steals. I guess North generally plays MSU style overly aggressive defense. It’s exactly the style that the NCAA has tried to crack down on bc it’s miserable to watch. At Iowa, however, maybe they could use some of that...
Have also heard the pg for Valley is VERY athletic...

You're right it's nothing worse than what either Connor or Patrick did. All three have shown poor sportsmanship via Twitter. Also, from what I hear he isn't wrong about the officiating. Sounds like it was borderline criminal.
