Oh my god, shut up! If you are serious with this then you obviously don't know anything about the sport. He is averaging 35 ppg so do you think maybe they are running him off the 3 point line and making him shoot difficult contested shots? That being said 36% isn't a terrible percentage. Obviously, anywhere around 40 and above is pretty damn good, but ALL excitement you had is lost because he is shooting just under 40% from 3? So throw out the fact he is averaging 35ppg 15 rebs in 4A? Get outta here with that crap man. You are one of the delusional fans that can't get excited about anything huh?

I watched Gesell play all through high school. He was athletic and a great defender but couldn't shoot the rock. He also had many games where he would score over 30 sometimes even 40 points.That game goes away in the big ten with the athletic rim protectors. But most of those points were dunks or layups and yes he dunked all the time in high school at 5'11. You need to be a superior athlete or an amazing shooter or a little of both.

He's a forward in the Muscatine offense. He can play outside but isn't asked to. He shoots a lot from midrange and while he does shoot from beyond the arc, it's not all that much. He shoots out there a lot more in AAU and at the camps.

Also, Muscatine's game vs City High today was at the 5 Season's Center in downtown CR as part of the Wells Fargo Advisors Shootout (2nd tweet).

I am not sure what kind of open court player JW will be, but he sure looks like a guy that can come off a screen on balance, with really good footwork, and quickly launch his shot from deep and he has a quick release from catch to release. I can see a lot of PT next season for that reason. He'll obviously need to adapt defensively.

he's a 2020 recruit. he's only a SO. by the time he arrives, Baer, Cook, Pemsl and Kriener will be gone. we'll only have Nunge, Patrick McCaffrey and Garza as bigs.

Oh yea duh. I've gotta be a complete idiot to not realize Fran should still be looking at 2020 bigs even tho he has a bunch of bigs now. Man I can't believe how dumb I am.
