@JG10Hawk can you post the top 20 for points scored? Just curious to get a big picture view of where Garza's at as he continues to move up.

I'd say it's safe to assume we will have a new scoring leader at the end of next year as long as Luka comes back and stays healthy.

I wouldn't say it's safe to assume. Let's say he scores 300 more points this year which would get him around 1600. He would still need almost 600 next year to pass Roy Marble. With the depth we'll have next year there's no telling he will get the minutes needed to get there.

It will be fun to watch, though. Also, Joe W could enter the club next year which could give us 3 active players in the club at once.

I don't think All American candidates normally lose minutes to depth.

After dropping 30 on Nebraska Joe W stands at 715 career points. He should end up the year somewhere in the 800 point range, maybe make a run at 900. Assuming he comes back he will move right up the ladder next year.

Assuming Luka and JBo play next year we will have 3 active members of the club. We thought about that possibility for this year but TC didn't come back so you never know.

If Wieskamp and Garza both use up their eligibility, they might both break 2000 points, which has only been done one other time in the history of Iowa hoops.

I'd say so. If Iowa plays 6 more games this year, the minimum, and he scores 20 ppg, that will put him at 1556 points, which is 560 behind Marble. If he plays, say, 32 games next year, he would need to average 17.5 ppg to reach 560. Again, the numbers I used are a minimum number of games, not projected. Every game he plays above that would reduce the amount he would need to average next year.
