Allow me to correct my post: public intox and interfere with police. Obviously not as serious. But still inexplicably stupid for a Senior leader on the team.Who got a DUI?

Victimless crimes!? You have a lot of audacity....Let's say the cop didn't arrest Hyde...he throws up on the sidewalk....some innocent hipster walking downtown to buy their quadruple organic flax seed latte muffin is absorbed in their iphone and steps in the throw up....ruining their $300 Giovanni boots....THAT is NOT a VICTIMLESS Crime!! You obviously have no compassion.
Like others have said, this should be looked at more critically because he is a senior captain. This is a bad example for this young team no matter what the infraction is, it has already brought bad publicity to the team. Ferentz should drop him as a captain and 2 game suspension. He set a bad example, now make an example of him.
There is no way a senior captain should have even put himself in that situation. Drink at your home or apartment and stay there. You are a target anywhere you go.
I know college guys drink, but by God you are a starting scholarship player for a Big 10 university, have some restraint during the season, there will be lots of time for that later.
Kick him off the team. If you are a senior, and of drinking age, and you cannot have a good time without getting charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts, then you are not wise enough to maintain your eligibility to be on a university football team.
Hate to say it, but you got to sit him against MSU or even more. With as hard as the team is working, it is not fair to them. Accountability. If what you are doing is bad for your team, it's the wrong choice.
there are no words when the senior leader of your defense makes a decision to act in this manner
so you have a legal aged 21 year old that is not driving a car and because he is legally drinking alledgedly three drinks, he is now a mass murder? Get out of the closet sometime!
Castillo time! Thankfully MSU isn't all that great at throwing the ball.

Sorry, I responded with that to the wrong quote. Maybe one too many schotch & waters?Good one.I love the optimists for the Hawks.
