Hyde Arrested

Kick him off the team. If you are a senior, and of drinking age, and you cannot have a good time without getting charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts, then you are not wise enough to maintain your eligibility to be on a university football team.

I am waiting for the facts to come out on this one. It is public intox, not murder. For all we know he had a few beers and was walking home and super cop stops him and starts giving him some flax, which he doesn't appreciate so he gets an IWOA charge as well. Then again, maybe he ran through a restaurant naked trying to escape the cops.

I didn't know Hyde was constipated.

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. Also, it's not that he cannot drink responsibly; it's just that he did not.

Rumor is Emmert is kicking Hyde out of college....banning him from attending any NCAA institution. Said this is a special case

So, what's the guess? One game? Two?

If he's suspended two games, Ferentz would have some explaining to do as it doesn't mesh with the punishments he's handed down in the past.

One game at most, more likely no suspension but he loses his spot as captain.

To be honest, I'm a little surpised at the outrage over a public intox.

To be honest...as a senior he SHOULD know better....but he doesn't so it's whatever....not surprising. However...I think the whole "after hours premises" ticket is the biggest sham in the world....

Soooooo....

all 3 are charged with victimless crimes. Am I correct?

Public Intox is not a crime, imo, but disorderly conduct is. I didn't see that anyone was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Also, a cop can slap on an IWOA charge if the guy he is writing the ticket for "talks back".
Again... victimless crime.

But, the law is the law and they broke it. Got to pay the price now.
