How Do All The Ferentz Boot Lickers

I'm good chat about it any time. I'm absolutely open to the discussion and actually don't know where I would lie on the whole, is Kirk or Hayden better. Pretty even IMO. All I ask is some objective thinking ... when someone says... yeah KF is good but not one major category can anyone say he did better than Fry... that's hilarious to me, and I'll say something.
Well, he did hire more relatives than Hayden, so there's that....

What are the major categories and which ones did KF do better in than HF?

Hayden beat the teams he should have beat. He sucked against the rest. How many times did he beat Michigan or OSU? He brought the program back to respectability. The Big 10 sucked as a conference for most of Fry's tenure. OSU, Michigan and then nothing. Ferentz has better bowl wins, more top 10 finishes and more bad losses. Both have done good things at Iowa.

Well, for starters, he has a major bowl victory and 3 more top 10 finishes.

Thing is, the periods of college football they coached in are vastly different. Hayden's best years came in a Big Ten with a much larger disparity between the top and bottom teams, and in an era of far less recruiting restrictions. Kirk's era has seen a much more level playing field in recruiting, but also a tougher Big Ten for most of his tenure. Kirk hasn't been better than Fry because their eras are too different to compare, but he has maintained the status Fry built, and elevated it in some areas, which in my mind, makes them equally good coaches.

Hayden should have had better kids.
None of his played for Iowa... KFs had a couple make an impact on the field as well. Both Brian and James were good centers. I think James is still enjoying his cup of coffee in the NFL. Brian got his feet wet under Belichick as an assistant. Hiring him wasn't just nepotism. (to an extent for sure it is) But he was as qualified as any of the other young bucks out there programs have been hiring.

Of course he was - it's just an easy target for the knowledgeable fan base that resides round these parts.

What?? Nebraska just had the toilet flushed...wait until the bowl fills again before farting. MinisooooDUH??? Are you kidding me?? MinisoooDuh = some of the "legend's" most embarrassing losses.....wins too if you were paying attention! lol

You are either horribly drunk or have suffered a stroke. I hope it's the former. Cheers.
