That part of your statement I understand, I think. But to tie your view in with heavy duty criticism of JB and Williams is unfounded. Williams, I agree, is still an unknown. But JB, even given his weaknesses, is definitely an impact point guard. Look at his stats. Listen to what some pretty smart guys like Jess Settles are saying about him. I really think you are suggesting a solution in search of a problem.
Bohannon is very inefficient offensively and a horrible defensive player. He's not an impact point guard

It's nice to know that our guards won't improve. You act like they've been here 4 years. Everyone knew coming in that this would be a rebuilding year. At the beginning of the year almost everybody was hoping we could make the NIT and we knew there would be ups and downs with a very young roster. You are the epitome of a cyfan troll and I have no doubt you are sitting in the basement, supported by your parents and jerking off thinking you're fooling everyone.

74% of fans thought we'd make the tournament so that's a lie. To answer your question I don't expect Bohannon to improve much because I think he has a pretty low ceiling. Williams is a sophomore and still can't score so that's concerning. I can't believe people don't want to add an impact guard

Do impact guards grow on trees? Sure I'd be intrigued if a scholarship opens up for a grad transfer or JUCO guard who could come in and help us. I'm just not sure that player exists.

Dan Dakich, Jess Settles, and a couple of other BT network guys disagree with you. I think I will stay with them. Your view of him as "inefficient" is without data to support and a term like "horrible" on defense is really quite meaningless. I have watched him all year and recognize that he has a good ways to go, but horrible is way over the top. Dakich said during the Indiana game that he will go down in history as one of the best point guards ever at Iowa. He talked about points, assists, free throw percentage, all of which have shown up pretty positively this year. Have you even looked at his scoring, assists, etc. for this year compared to other freshmen who have played that position?

If you don't think we need to improve the PG position I don't know what to tell you. Our guards are going to be bad next year without Jok unless we add someone or someone improves big time
Yeah there will be impact graduate transfer guards out there that Fran will need to go all in on. He has a lot of playing time to sell so he needs to get it done

How many of those guys are out there? I'd guess maybe a couple. Playing time to sell? We return 4 guards that are playing right now.
There will be tons of college teams that would love to bring in an impact guard. The fact that you think Fran should easily be able find one when there may only be a couple of those guys out there, shows just how confused your are.
Our guards will be bad next year, playing time is easy to sell. Don't be stupid

Did you know Moss averages more points (in less minutes), better 3p %, and better PER than Marble did as a freshman? Marble went on to have a PER near 20 as a Sophomore. They call that IMPROVEMENT. A word you still haven't learned.
The other three guards are underclasmen who have all scored double figures in B1G games this year. You're right they suck.
