Don't Expect Any Protests During National Anthem from Hawkeyes

About the link, the main speaker is Benjamin Watson, an NFL tight end. Here is the 2nd Part of the Interview: https://www.focusonthefamily.com/media/daily-broadcast/forging-a-path-to-racial-reconciliation-pt2

About the commercial, whether or not it is also done in reverse doesn't really make it right. They knew it would be pushing things. Of course it's not a problem for someone not dealing with racial stereo types.

It's also a context thing. From 2011.

I'm confused. How is not right? They had 3 different races in the commercial. Are you saying they picked the wrong order?

First, they went from Back to White. They also had the other 2 commercials. Later then they did it, but it's not accidental.

And then white to some other race, I can't tell which one. How does that not make a difference to people? I've watched a video and read an article and both make one quick reference to the white girl taking off her shirt. That is a very important part of the story to not talk about. If you single out one part of a story, you can make racism of almost anything.

As long as half the world gets outraged at anything that even makes mention of different races, racism will never go away. People that think it's racist to even acknowledge there are different races are really slowing down the progress the world is trying to make with racism. That's exactly what dove intended to show. That there are different races, but all of them love their soap. A stupid message maybe. But far from a racist one.

I can't help you to get it. To a decent percentage of the nation your comment is racist whether you believe it or not. Again, listen to the broadcast. You also ignored comment on the other two commercials. Explain those away. Same parent company.

What comment of mine is considered racist? I really don't even know. My mind just doesn't work that way. I hardly even notice race in day to day life, but laugh my ass off at race jokes. I find stereotypes funny, but think people treating someone bad due to race (or for any reason for that matter) is disgusting. If everyone thought like me on this subject, there would be no racism. People who think like you are the fuel to the fire. It doesn't make you a bad person because you're not racist yourself. You're just accidently setting us back decades. Or maybe even centuries.

Nobody can help you at all. To a decent percentage of the nation your commits are race baiting, whether you believe it or not.

I love being lectured about race by a middle aged white male. I mean if anyone knows what is racism and what isn't, it is the lily white middle aged male who goes by Hawkgolf on this site. Nobody can understand the plight of the typical African American quite like Hawkgold can, he is a leading authority on it, just ask him, he will tell you he is.

So...you can define and stereotype a person by their race and age without really knowing them. Funny, I thought that's what we were trying to get away from.

I thought we were trying to get rid of treating people worse because of their race. Acknowledging stereotypes is just living in reality because stereotypes are there for a reason. For instance, do you think someone one day just made up that Asians are good at math out of the blue? Or did people over time notice they were good at it?

People are different races for crying out loud. Of course they are going to have slight differences from other races. We don't have to pretend those differences don't exist. We just have to not treat people worse because of those differences.

Bingo. Most stereotypes are rooted in some degree of truth. That doesn't mean it's a bad thing. We're just different.
The big flaw with the PC sensitivity crowd is they cry out for diversity while at the same time denying the differences inherent there in. If you happen to point one out...you're automatically racist. A simple observation...is not a judgement.

The son of former Hawkeye basketball player Darryl Moore:

(The Snapchat surfaced late last Friday night after Moore's father, Darryl Moore, posted a screenshot of the image on Facebook. The photo, taken during CCA’s game last week against Marion, is from the perspective of someone in the crowd. It features Moore, who is black and Native American, wearing his No. 2 jersey, with a red circle drawn around him.

The message said, "kick this f------ ni---- off the football team like honestly who the f--- kneels for the national anthem")

I just unfollowed all the people here who have views that I don't agree with, please let me know by DM if they say anything about me because they are also muted and blocked.

Now if guys like that were singled out and alienated, instead of having the luxury of blending in with half of the world that's being accused of being racist for stupid shit, maybe they wouldn't feel so safe. Right now they have safety in false numbers.

Bingo again. You're on a roll PC.
