Several. Overall offensive numbers, fan acceptence, and the fact that he's was forced out of Texas.
Plus he's been a terrible head coach when given the chance.
I didn't know we were hiring a head coach.

His results are what scare me. He won't have the recruits he did at Texas and he wasn't liked there.
This will go down as the worst move Ferentz ever made. Timestamp that.
whorn fans would disagree, but I guess only time will tell.

But that has nothing to do with our OC hire
I'd love to hear how his being a poor head coach for 3 years in the late 80's and early 90's would mean he'd be a bad offensive coordinator in 2012 and beyond after he has already had successful offenses at one of the best football programs ever.

Yeah, because look how great that talent in Texas has been flourishing ever since they got rid of Davis' sorry ***...
where's golfer?
his overall offense numbers look pretty good from my brief review. Can you be a little more specific?
Going back to 2004 they were a top 15 offense in the country in total offense every year but once (2006 #26) & #2 in 2005
OC's and DC's are the easiest targets for mouthbreathers everywhere, 99% of college football fans think one, or both, of their coordinators suck, and the 1% that don't will unless they win the title for the second consecutive year.
did forget to add in his last year (2010) where they were something like 73rd in total offense.
