Dailey transferring ...

Hope he can find a good fit for him to play more. He deserved better then all he had to hear and go through at Iowa. Seems like a great kid.

He always appeared to be a great teammate. Hopefully he finds somewhere he can flourish during his final year of eligibility.

Seems like a good guy that was put in a really bad position not of his own causing. I hope he can find success at a different level.

Not a shocker. There's a possibilty that Fran gently pushed him out the door, but that's big boy basketball. When it comes to this roster I am one of those individuals hoping that it "works itself out". I saw Fran in the '17-18 season struggle with a roster that was 10 deep. I don't trust Fran with a roster full of dudes expecting minutes.

Not a shocker. I am guessing Fran had a grownup conservation with him. He understood it, probably not much different than the conversation with Ellingson last year. Every coach at a power 6 will have these conversations with certain guys on their roster.

Good move for him, hope it goes well. Won't be the last, I would guess. Normal shuffle of college sports today.

I hope this means CJ is slated to be ahead of Dailey in the rotation of next year which means the team is upgrading.

I also hope this means Moss is staying.

Are we all sleeping on Fredricks? Could this kid be better than what we think?

I hope Moss leaves too because he knows CJ is so good that he will demand 30 minutes per game.

I really hope so. I had never heard about him playing point before hitting a growth spurt. That's why Kaminsky was do good as a center. He developed guard skills before hitting a late growth spurt. Maybe CJ has point guard skills in a shooting guard's body. 6'4" white kids with point guard skills is rare, but it's not impossible.

with Toussaint joining and CJ coming in as a sg, there needs to be movement to have a proper rotation. jbo, connor, moss, cj, toussaint and daily (yes, i know he's xferring, that's part of the movement) so, it's pretty jammed up at guard. maybe not the kind of guards we need (we need more speed and ball handling) but that's who we got. i could see moss going, and i think he is, because you'd have to think that JBo will likely play more sg and perhaps cj is slotted as backup sg. JW "can" play the sg, so he starts there to begin the season and slowly work toussaint into pg and jbo to sg. something like that. i think it's possible that toussaint takes over #1 pg at some point next season and jbo to sg on a more consistent basis. certainly, we saw this season the importance of jbo getting his shots. we need jbo to have quantity shots.
